What are screw piles?

Screw piles or screw piles are special structural components used to form foundations in various construction projects. These are steel rods with a spiral blade at the bottom that are screwed into the ground to a solid foundation.

The main advantages of screw piles are:

  1. Quick and easy installation : They can be installed relatively quickly and without major land redevelopment.
  2. Availability in different conditions : They are suitable for sandy, clay and other types of soil and can be fixed even under water.
  3. No heavy construction work required : No need to use large and heavy machinery.
  4. Reusability : As needed, screw piles can be removed and reused in other projects.

They are often used for light structures such as wooden buildings, fences, patios, and recreational structures, but are also suitable for more serious structures with appropriate calculations and specifications.
