FABRICATION OF FLAGS OF CUSTOM DESIGN AND SIZE IS ALSO POSSIBLE

The history of the Jelgava city flag began in the 20th century in the thirties, when four regional cities of Latvia – Riga, Daugavpils, Jelgava and Liepāja – were given flags of standard size and appearance: two bands of equal length and width in different colors with the image of the respective city’s coat of arms in the middle of the flag. The flag of the city of Jelgava was approved by the President of Latvia K. Ulmanis in 28 October, 1938.
